Welcome to FinanceGC. By downloading, installing, or using the FinanceGC mobile application ("App") or website ("Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use ("Terms"). Please read them carefully before using the Service.
In these Terms, "FinanceGC", "we", "our", and "us" refer to the FinanceGC application and website together with its owner, operator, and developer, and their respective agents and licensors. All disclaimers, limitations of liability, releases, and indemnities in these Terms apply for the benefit of each of them individually.
By accessing or using FinanceGC, you confirm that you are at least 13 years of age, have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms, and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

FinanceGC offers a free tier, a 7-day free trial, and a Premium subscription.
Free Trial: New accounts receive a 7-day free trial with full access to all Premium features. No credit card is required to start the trial. After the trial period ends, the account reverts to the free tier unless a subscription is purchased.
Free Tier: Includes 1 period of financial history, 1 credit card, 1 savings account, and basic budget tracking.

By subscribing to FinanceGC Premium:
iOS and Android in-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store and Google Play, and are managed on our behalf by RevenueCat, Inc., which coordinates subscription entitlements across platforms. Web payments are processed securely by Stripe. FinanceGC does not store your payment card details.

The FinanceGC application, its design, code, trademarks, and content are owned by FinanceGC and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for personal, non-commercial purposes.
You retain ownership of all financial data you enter into the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide the Service to you.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of your information as described in the Privacy Policy.
AI Data Processing: The Bank Statement PDF Import feature sends the text content of your uploaded PDF to Anthropic, Inc. (Claude AI) for transaction extraction and categorization. Before any data is sent, the app will request your explicit consent and explain what data is shared and with whom. You may decline this consent at any time; doing so will disable the PDF Import feature but will not affect any other functionality. See our Privacy Policy for full details on data handling by Anthropic.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW:
You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless FinanceGC (as defined above, including its owner, operator, and developer) from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with: (a) your use or misuse of the Service; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any law or the rights of any third party; or (d) any financial or other decision you make based on information provided by the Service.
You may delete your account at any time from within the app (Profile → Danger Zone → Delete Account). Upon deletion, all your data will be permanently removed.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, without prior notice.
If you download the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge and agree that: (a) these Terms are between you and FinanceGC only, and not with Apple Inc. ("Apple"); (b) Apple has no obligation to furnish any maintenance or support services for the App; (c) Apple is not responsible for any product warranties, claims, or losses relating to the App, to the extent not effectively disclaimed above; and (d) Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and, upon your acceptance, will have the right to enforce them against you. If you download the App from Google Play, you agree to comply with the applicable Google Play Terms of Service. Your use of the App must also comply with the applicable App Store or Google Play usage rules.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by updating the "Last updated" date and, where appropriate, via in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. You agree that any dispute not otherwise subject to the App Store rules above will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Florida, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
Entire Agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and FinanceGC regarding the Service and supersede any prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is held invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary, and the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect.
No Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Survival. The sections on Not Financial Advice, Intellectual Property, Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, Governing Law, and this General section survive any termination of your account or these Terms.
